I have an AT mobo with Intel VX chipset and Award BIOS which has the BIOS password set.
I can see no obvious jumper on the mobo to clear the password, neither can I see anything I recognise as a battery, though there are a couple of small solder pads on the mobo with a battery symbol between them. I think this might be a case of shorting out something, but just what? TIA. -- Howard.
