Most (at least the ones I have) AT motherboards had the "password" jumper 
located on the front left side, about 1/3 of the way from the edge... Are 
there any unidentified jumpers ?  It should be only a 3 pin one

What's the model of motherboard ?  There is probably a manual available 
somewhere on the net.
