consolechars -f /usr/lib/kdb/consolefonts/default8x9.psf.gz
The Redhat/Mandrake scripts use the value of SYSFONT in
/etc/sysconfig/i18n to set this on bootup, or the file in
/etc/sysconfig/console which ends with psf.gz if SYSFONT is undefined.
I'm quite partial to the alt-sans-8x16 font, but I haven't really had a
chance to try all the supplied fonts, let alone pursue converting some
of my other favorite fonts.
