Hi everyone,

I am in the process of setting up a mailman mailing list for CLUEBIES
[Cessnock Linux Users Embracing Beginners, Intermediates & Experts], our
new users group in the Hunter Valley, and I am having issues with
Postfix refusing to allow me to subscribe from my machine.
Here is the setup:

Macintosh G3 connected by ADSL to the Internet running Mandrake 8.2 PPC,
and Postfix 20010228.

DynDNS names mcquillen.homeip.net & cluebies.homelinux.com

Postfix is configured via Webmin to use domainname in outgoing mail, to
receive mail for $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, $mydomain and
cluebies.homelinux.com and to receive on all interfaces, yet when I
reply to my subscription confirmation request, Postfix responds with
'status=bounced (mail for [EMAIL PROTECTED] loops
back to myself). Same with trying to send a mail from the server to a
user on my Mandrake 9.0 desktop, (mail for
[EMAIL PROTECTED] loops back to myself)

I thought telling Postfix which domains were local would solve this, but
it doesn't seem to be working.

Please help...

Also, I would like to be able to change the domain name in outgoing mail
to cluebies.homelinux.com when sending cluebies mail, but keep it as
mcquillen.homeip.net for everything else. Is this possible?

Thanks for your time,

John McQuillen.

See ya in the Valley sometime!
