OK - a little more information is needed here.

What does netstat -r show when your PPP commection is up?

What are you using to dial the PPP conection? A script? A GUI based
dialer? Which user are you running it as?

If you're using a script - do you have the "defaultroute" option in it?

What does /etc/ppp/options say?

Give us a bit more info, and someone will probably be able to help.
