My unhappiness with seagate's australian distributor's support
isn't a case to brag about (on a few occassion) - so I decided to 
stay away from Seagate altogether. No problems so far with
WD & Maxtor.

Did someone say 1 yr warranty on HD ?? I must have been in
wilderness way too long !!
