So you got a clevo as well. I like mine esp the price ($2K) cool extras (1.2Ghz, 512Mb RAM, 20Gb disk) and no Windows O/S to pay for...
Mine installs with the 'trident-snd' drivers. Its a 7019 PCI Audio card according to the Mandrake Control Centre Hardware gui option (this is a great place to configure the module BTW). 7018/ALi 5451 and Tvia/IGST CyberPro5050 PCI Audio Driver is the info I get when I run config tool. You may have a different clevo. My model is 2300T (look on the back). BTW if you get the modem going.... I'm interested.
