A slim chance but .. Broadcast packets & proxyarp possibly?
I forget the name of the setting in the /etc/ppp/options.pptpd (or
/etc/pptpd.conf?) but it's to do with relaying broadcast packets.
Also, less of a problem I think but proxyarp in the options file as well.
Also, ensure NAT is not happening for pptp<-->lan ... but I suppose you
wouldn't get anything at all if that were your problem.
