Adding -j LOG to iptables on the remote linux box I get these errors in 
the syslog while waiting
for the smbclient to time out;

 fileserver pptp[2624]: anon log[decaps_gre:pptp_gre.c:397]: buffering 
out-of-order packet 3492 (expecting 3490)

Any ideas?
