What are people doing with their virus scanners? Not warning senders? Warning only senders of non-forging viruses? How do you keep your "forging" list up to date?
The massive amount of emails generated from MyDoom caused me to turn off the warnings all together temporarily. Normally we only warn the recipient. Even with that on with Mydoom, one of our firewalls we manage was rejecting mails at a peak rate of 1 or 2 a second for a while there when it first broke. Crazy times.
