It isn't trivial. There are endless examples of censorship because of an "agenda", either political, moral or religious - or heaven knows even because of OS prejudice.
a whitelist setup has none of these problems. If everything else is hostile, you aren't descriminating. From an employers point of view - 'get back to work!' :)
