Two suggestions:
Software only:
We use DansGuardian, in conjunction with Squid and it works very well - in
fact I normally have to relax the filtering rather than increase it and I
am in a Girls High School.
Appliance:
Webguard, contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
This is a Linux based box, running all OS software, including Squid,
DnasGuardian. Does proxy, proxy authentication, filtering, bandwidth
limiting based on user/usage, blocking/enabling particular users and much
more. No licence or ongoing fees for around $4000 depoending on whether
you want Rack Mounty or not. Runs a Transmeta Chip. Very impressive with
good web interface management.
