Actually Xandros is based on Debian (pretty hardcore) and you can point
the Xandros package manager at your local Debian ftp package servers. To
be honest I view Xandros as an easy way to get newbies to use Debian in
the long run thanks to the package manager compatibility with Debians
servers and the easy install (puts windows to shame).
People who run around saying this or that is total crap unless you
install Linux standing on your head in the middle of a desert with 5"
monochrome monitor and 10mb of ram and you can only uses the letters a,z
and q on the keyboard during the install are idiots to be honest.
