If you have the Deluxe version of Xandros, it resized NTFS partitions too. Are you having trouble doing that? If its standard version, it does not. So you will need to create space for it before installing. Otherwise, I don't see any hitch in installing Xandros at all. I have, for instance, installed it even under VMware running on some HP laptop which most linux distros fail to recognize. But YMMY definitely. Once installed, use the ethernet option with your modem. In fact, Xandros is the *only* distro that has an integrated configuration option for ADSL modems.
