I'm in the process of choosing which laptop to purchase.
I want a unit that will play dvd movies and am wondering what the minimum
CPU reqd would be.
Most of the units that I'm considering have Celeron M processors.
Would a Celeron M 350 1.3 ghz with shared 64 mb Graphics - with at least
512k ram but probably 1gb ram - be suitable?
I'll be running Debian in one form or another - a LiveCD - HD installed -
distro such as Kanotix or Kubuntu.
Googling for info on laptops/cpus etc failed to find such info, and
magazine reviews seem only to deal with Games or business applications,
unless the reviews are for high-end machine. I'm looking to spend around
$1500 max, preferably less.
