Default Ubuntu 5.10 install with the mythtv 0.18-1 packages available
from repository works alright on my Athlon XP 2800+ with 1.2gb ram and
FX5200 video. HD for me is a bit of a problem. I only use SD at the
moment so all good. I've been tempted to tweak the install and maybe
even compile mythtv manually to try and see if HD can be made stable,
as it should work. Although personally its not that important.

Happy to demo if anyone wants to drop past. I dont have it connected
to a TV or anything. The backend box with 2 x Twinhan Mini Ter tuners
is sitting under my desk and just records stuff as it should. I then
either watch from the same box by running mythfrontend or run
mythfrontend from mac mini :)

The whole setup works alot better with 2 tuners then I imagine a
Windows setup would. Besides I love being able to connect from work
and browse the tv guide for stuff I might like to tape.
