1) NNTP anyone?
2) If this stuff is going to be around for a few more years, then we
really need to cater for growth in spammer ability and not assume that
they are always going to be useless cretins.
Looking at the HTML page source from your link above, if I was to
address extraction from these pages, first thing I'd do was to use
<dl><dt> as a record separator and dump the first and last record, the
rest of the string substitutions just follow on.
FWITISW, swmbo was able to start reading out email address in less than
a minute and she knows nothing about html or programming, coding or
scripting.
I guess we are just lucky that Basic disappeared off windows machines
all those years ago and must people get confused by gui's.
