Well "demo" went ok. Still had my widescreen issues going to an external VGA and thus had the left hand 10% of my screen not showing on the big screen. Had to oppologise for that to start with and got a few laughs :(
Explained all the main apps "regular" customers would need, like email client, web browser, OOo apps etc. Beryl sparked some interest and got a few comments, like "Who needs Vista" etc, so that was good. Was using a guest account as I thought people might be trying it out and didnt want them messing with my personal account. But had copied over my example files from ine to guest with sudo and thus could not delete or edit them in anyway. How embarassing. People has since said I could of used that as a positive for security, but didn't think of that as the time. All i all it went well with many staff memebers asking me questions later. Now I have to do more "branding" and theming for our company. On Thu, Apr 19, 2007 at 06:06:30PM +1000, Jeremy Visser wrote: > (OL) > > David Ward wrote: > > Thanks Amos.
