The rest of your mail, and an astute comment from one of your other mails, describes why original comparison is amusing (aside from the amusement value of the poster): Scalability no longer depends on the MTA, sendmail is mostly in use where it has a large traditional install base, there are relatively few greenfields sendmail deployments, new deployments favour modern MTAs, etc. But mostly it was the amusement value of another bizarre statement from Oscar.
