I just returned mine to Myers today - no internal modem and no regular serial port so no dial up internet. The shop assistant took it back no worries. Penrith Myer has the Eee PC in a display case. Not real pleased overall - was hoping for a ready to use linux install, but the way its set up you can't free up more harddisk space by removing software without heavy duty fiddling. Then finding the telephone jack on the side probably doesn't go anywhere...
Hope you get to have a look at one. I think that's the first new computer I've ever had! I'll go back to my old comfortable ones now, though the Atari Portfolio is behaving very strangely - could it be wearing out at last?
