Hi Heracles,

Having had my paws on one, the major differences (in terms of their attractiveness) is that the eeepc weighs less than a kilo, is quite small and has a flash drive rather than a standard HDD - all of which makes it a far more portable companion than a new <$600 Compaq Presario.

I don't own one by the way.

Regards,

Patrick

With other (regular) Laptops starting at around $500 or so, what is so
special about the eeepc etc. Is it the tiny screen or something else?

Heracles
