When I was in Toastmasters I designed one. It had 3 large LED-based
lamps (red, yellow and green, about 30 LEDs each arranged in a disc),
a clock, a buzzer, a bell, a timer and a switch.
The idea was the timekeeper (a person) sat in the front or second row
of the audience, and set the lamps to green 1/2 way through the talk,
amber with 10 minutes to go, red with three minutes to go, then used the
buzzer at time, and the bell one minute past time. Of course, being
a person, the timekeeper had some discretion. And the times had to be
adjusted for talk lenghts: for quick one-minute
talks, we used only the buzzer. For five minute talks, we used only
the red lamp (at 45 seconds to go) and the buzzer or bell at time.

What I am looking for, is something I could integrate into
my slides, which are generally HTML pages.
eg at the top right hand corner of the slides for the five
minute lightning talk, such as the one I gave on Friday.
