hmmmmm...

I can now telnet OK, to both 127.0.0.1 ... and localhost..
like it worked at first...
all work OK(1):

BUT, I can not telnet to policyd on 10031, getting same 'telnet gets tied
up, can't quit till process killed':

# telnet localhost 10031
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.

after I shut down policyd, shell returns

(1) - this now works
# telnet localhost smtp
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 ...
