Hi all,

I'm new to slurm.

I built slurm with

./configure --prefix=/opt/system/slurm/14.03.3 --with-munge=/opt/system/munge/0.5.11 --enable-pam
make
make install

and recognized that smap and sview are not installed:

# pwd
/opt/system/slurm/14.03.3/bin
# ls
sacct salloc sbatch scancel sdiag sprio sreport sshare strigger
sacctmgr sattach sbcast scontrol sinfo squeue srun sstat

Do I have to build smap and sview by hand? Is it only useful on certain types of clusters like BlueGene or Cray? (If so this should be reflected in the documentation.)

Additionally it seems that the PAM module is not build by the Makefile. Is this intended behavior? I can understand that you refrain from installing the PAM module because the installation destination might not be the same on all systems but I'd expect the module to be built when I explicitly configure Slurm to use PAM.
