I've changed PCMICA cards and cables. I don't *think* I've tried a
different power supply, but I'll do that too. Just to recap..

If I use the following setup:

server -> airPoint -> airBridge -> (ethernet) -> laptop
192.168.1.1 .1.2 .1.3 .1.4

I get these results:

-airBridge Eth light is on
-airBridge WIFI light (blue) is solid
-Laptop PCMCIA NIC ETH light is off
-Laptop cannot see (ping or simpleMonitor) airBridge through the Ethernet
port
-Laptop cannot see (ping, ftp, etc) airPoint
-Laptop cannot see (ping, ftp, etc) server

-Server can see airPoint (ping and simpleMonitor)
-Server can see airBridge (ping and simpleMonitor) through the wireless
port
-Server can re-apply airBridge firmware via wireless port
-Server cannot ping laptop through wireless port

-Multiple Resets of airBridge have no effect
-Multiple re-application of firmware has no effect
-Changing cables has no effect
-Changing airPoint with Orinoco ap500 has no effect

-Using a different airBridge in the same configuration works!

I'm inclined to think the ethernet port of the airBridge is shot.

I'll try a different power supply (an 18v too!) and try simpleDeploy to
see what happens.
