I would like to thank everyone for pointing out the problem regarding
the latest batch issue, We believe we understand the issue, and that it
may be related to a single carton or shipment, but further Research is
needed.

In order to facilitate this, the units will be directly RMA, and analyze
ASAP to verify the information. Also we have verified that others have
received large numbers and have not to date seen any significant issues.

Further we have verified the only changes were of a cosmetic nature in
the manufacturing, and no "global" issue exists.

We do need to make sure we have the Mac list for any device, and the
date the units were received and from which distributor to complete the
full diagnostic. We would like to identify the potential cause, and will
do everything in power to

1) Make sure it does not happen again, and 2) Make our unit even more
robust to mishandling or installation and we will continue to work on
our quality to make it the best in the industry.

Before we have any clue as to where the problem is, there is no need for
alarm.

Please let us have the time, energy and effort to fulfill our high
standard Of quality, and customer satisfaction. Again, we thank all for
the past, current, and Future support of our product.

Sam
I'm not promoting Teletronics, or any other manufacturer. I hadn't
bought a Teletronics product for about a year, util I started having
problems with my SB's. I'm like most other wisp's that use Smart
Bridges. I just want a stable CPE to connect my subs to my network that
won't make us look UN reliable. Gosh I hate that word, Un reliable.

I'm not locked in or blindly loyal to any manufacturer, I move to who
has the best product for the best price that does what I need done.

The reason I posted that is because Chris, aka phantom, seems to try to
dispel that there is a flaw in the Smart Bridge product. He's not doing
any one any favors by brown nosing up to the manufacturer. My view on
what's wrong with these units is that they manufactured these things a
tad short on quality for the benefit of price and they are moving too
fast ahead with too many features with out first making them stable.
Hopefully they will get their stuff together and the PRICE LOWER, so
that I and all the other wisp have an additional tool in our box of
tricks to make a buck.

I have better than 40 installed units and a few in my, return to sender
junk box. I've noticed that all my subs that have to reboot their radios
have SmartBridges.

As for what AP to use, I have two airpoints in use with hardly anyone
connected to them on a temporary basis. I wouldn't consider using a SB
product for an AP at this point. If the CPE has to be 100% reliable, the
AP has to be 1000% reliable.

For advice on other CPE choices you may want to try [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This way I don't get accused of unethical practices while on a
manufacturer specific list.

Hope this helps.
George
