One suggestion I would have is to integrate a RJ45 female jack into the PowerShot instead, as (at least in our instances) it makes cabling neater and simpler. It allows us to have the power shot farther away from the network device it is plugging into. It would also allow shorter runs on the power, reducing the over length issues with the standard power supply.

Example:

|ABo|------------50’ cable to ABo---------|PowerShot and Power|-------------------50’ cable to Network----------------------|Network Device|

Just need to clarify, is the connector need to recrimp refer to the powershot's RJ45 Male connector?

I agree . . . my indoor units work wonderfully . . . as well as the outdoor . . .when I crimp them correctly.

I have about 30 of the S/B's radios running 24/7. Have not skipped a beat in months other than an interference problem once or twice. No horror stories here. I have some of all of them out there. Even some indoor units in plastic boxes outdoor. Joe
