Title: RE: [smartBridges] Smartbridge APPO max client associations?
The reason for RTS is the "hidden node" problem.  By definition, the AP can see all of the "clients" and thus knows if any of them are transmitting.  However, two clients may not be able to "see" each other and thus could both transmit at the same time causing a mess at the AP.  To get round this, you can set the RTS on the clients so that they ask for permission before sending data.  The AP does not need to do this as it "hears" all the clients.

For our network we set the RTS to zero (ie always ask for permission) for every airbridge, but leave it switched off for the APs.

Just be aware that RTS needs to be set on the client devices.  Don't set it on
the AP.  Leave the AP at 2346 (RTS disabled).
