So it is in the works? I really don't
want new functionality persay (ok yes I do but not at the cost of performance I
find sometimes the airpoints are doing better than the airpointpro's but that
might just be the antennas I have are different and different cases) but the
simple fact of limited client link information has me not wanting them anymore
and getting discouraged at the ones I have L Chris From: sBTech

Hi Chris, The current firmware(1.4j.4)of the
airPoint is quite stable and there are no known issues with this firmware. If
you want to use full functionality of the access point, please go for the aPPO
with 1.4j.8 firmware. At present we are testing the new
firmware for the airPoint and we do not know the release date yet. Seeni, SB support -----Original Message----- Seeni, I
note no response to the neglect of the quality on the ap indoors. It's hard to
judge links without the info on the airpoints CAN WE PLEASE GET A AIRPOINT
firmware soon, I mean what was the last update to them? 4, 5, 6 months? Chris From: sBTech
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Bobby, We had encountered some issues
displaying IP address in the client info TAB and this issue is related to
SNMP1, queries with different timing which will results incorrect parameters
display. Yes, it is a nice feature to see the IP address, but it makes
confusion in the device settings. That is the reason we have removed that
feature from the latest simpleMonitor. Seeni, SB Support -----Original Message----- Anyone want to weigh in on this?
Seems to me that it would be useful to see IP's in SimpleMonitor. I think
something got lost in Alex's translation. I don't understand his explanation. Regards, Bobby Bounds Airwave Internet, LLC ----- Original Message ----- From: sB Tech Support To: 'Bobby Bounds' Sent: Tuesday,

IP's gone.... Hi
Bobby, You are
referring the IP address shown in Client Info Tab? As the IP address displayed
is random and does not reflect the correct device and due to this confusion or
inaccuracy, we have removed this IP info in our latest simpleMonitor. Alex sB Tech

SimpleMonitor? It was helpful to be able to see the devices by IP. Regards, Bobby Bounds Airwave Internet |
