I don't even have them bring laptops anymore just the simpleCd and let them install it setup the radio assign the ip's that are open (we have a running hardcopy list of sbip's and customer ip's), and they go from there, really we have 1 part time installer, and one service installer they can bang out 10-20 installs in one week considering that the only car is the part time installer that works 2 days a week but they have really gotten the handle of the ABT's and the ABO+Backfires, but in the long run if we can we want to move to a cellular style system with us adding more and more ap's with backhauls that bring the internet close enough that we can just sell the client a CPE, have it simpleDeploy'd to IDL-ROAM in roaming mode and have it switch to the closest WiFi POP Site. But really I have a feeling that's long way off we don't have cash for that I wish we were federally owned like our competitor that just put up 10 towers around the island makes the place look like a damn antenna farm LOL, they suck :)

Patty,
I use private IP's for both the radio and the NIC. Setting up the radio in
advance is easy as well as onsite too. The tech should have a laptop along
for testing and setup. We too are small rural WISP.
