We have found that if when we get new radios in we pre program each radio with MIN of RTS CTS, 11 meg 5.5 meg etc and we pre program the IP of the customer IE Joe Schmoo is going to be a static IP of 66.xxx.xxx.10 public then we load the radio with our private ip of 10.x.x.10 so the private matches the public to keep things simple. We also change the password there as well and load the mac into the brilan box (bandwidth control box) so all the installer (me and my partner) has to do is point the ant log into the radio and type in which AP to associate to since we name each AP different depending on where the customer is located. They can also then at that time put in the customers name on the radio unless you know before hand what the customer name is etc. We also are going to start playing around with simple deploy to preload the radio with a default setting of IP and customer name of the customer so if they have to reset the radio it goes back to default of what we set it up to begin with..
Hope this helps It saves us a bunch of time the other thing we plan to do is set up all the ants as soon as we get them so we dont have to assemble them onsite.
