Umm wouldn't winding up a long ass cable inside of lmr195 to calc the loss do the trick and then just tweaking the util to show itas the allotted amount? Really that's just a simple res hack.

7, 4, and 1db? 1db is 1mW. You couldn't get across the living room with
1mW. (well maybe with a 19db panel..)
