I apologize if this is a very basic question.

When my wireless portion of my ISP was first installed, the company that 
installed it set up a DHCP server. I have since done away with that 
concept as it doesn't seem as reliable (though it is more flexible and 
easier to adapt if your ip pools change) as static ip assignments.

 My question is, is there any way you know of to "tie" an assigned ip 
address to a given MAC? My concern is that one of my customers might go in 
and change their ip address and have it conflict with someone else on my 
network. If it's possible, I'd like to prevent this.
