I dove into MikroTik back at version 2.3.15 and it's
been a life saver. I first installed it on a 486-66
with 64MB RAM and a 270MB Hard Drive and it worked
great. Since then it's become the central management
point for our entire network. It's saved us a small
fortune over what we would have had to pay for other
solutions. We still run Cisco for T1s and stuff like
that, but it's all channeled through MikroTik for
security and authentications.
