Nod, I only reboot mine (Win2k servers) for updates. One year, three months without a single hiccup. *knocks on wood*

Mine have been pretty solid too. The W2K machines I reboot about once a quarter (every 3 months) when I do patches. My Windows 2003 web server has only been rebooted once for a patch and has been up for about 4 months now. The trick is to ONLY load and run what you need. Most people don't do that or don't know what they are doing. I work for another company out of Georgia and our SQL server running W2K has been up for a year. _____ Jeremy _____ -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Laurence Laforga Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2003 2:03 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [smartBridges] OT - Windows FREE Radius?? Nope, not pulling your leg....been running like a champ though I'm not using it for much else other than being a domain controller. Got a separate linux box running MRTG and some other neat stuff and that's been up longer. > > All the time man... my desktop Win2K machine (which has all sorts of cra9 > software running on it only gets rebooted once every couple of weeks... > mostly due to me loading/unloading drivers for new hardware I am playing > with.
