Having the smartbridge line run linux would be a dream come true.  There
are several AP's out there that can(not officially though) but with the
advanced networking features that linux supports it would make the
smartbridges line an incredibly powerfull line of CPE's

If the smartBridges ran linux, the CPE's could act as routers/nat rather
then just bridges.  Bandwidth shaping could be implemented right in the
CPE's and AP's, you could firewall off evil ports(135) right at the
cpe.  It would be so nice to have those features.
