Thats where I wonder... Your graphs show similar to mine. That is the ethernet port has a much higher peak on "In" then "out" but on the packet side they are about level. Knowing LAN's and Windows devices, I always assumed this was local traffic that the radio determines wasn't for it, so dropped the packet without sending it. (I.e. realize on LAN, a device sees all traffic being sent to all machines and just acknowledges those which are for it....) Otherwise, if you do the math, the outbound packet sizes are tremendously larger than the inbound packets (do the math), or allot of bits on the ethernet side are being dropped (i.e. packets not getting through).
I haven't looked much closer at this, but always had me wondering since I have clients that have upload issues (outbound e-mail with attachments). And the peaks correspond to this activity. (i.e. the gaps between the inbound and outbound peaks on ethernet get greater, where as the wireless side, the gaps remain constant....). So I really do believe packets are being dropped... Just some thoughts..
