Don't you mean 4x1TB mirrors?
and then added a 1x4TB mirror (2 x 2TB drives). Ultimately; I want to
replace the 1TB drives with 2TB drives, but the current drives are RE4
drives and still have quite a bit of life in them.
To keep you data balanced, why don't you mirror each of the 2TB drive
with one of the 1TB drives and have a 5x1TB mirrors?
