I’ve not heard of any expressing themselves as AHCI. Most of the newer ones
are expressing NVME. I believe someone (Nexenta?) was working on an NVME
driver. We don’t have one in illumos. To be perfectly honest, if one doesn’t
get contributed, and there is a need, it would be pretty simple task (for a
driver developer) to write one. Frankly it was a task I wanted to perform
(with my blkdev framework), but simply never had the hardware at hand to
develop to.
