Hi Jon, What geographical area are you looking to host in? How many servers do you want to deploy? Do you want to be hands on? Do you want to use tested server configurations?
As for specific hosting providers / data centers, I know that the Switch Supernap has lots of experience hosting SDC. Also, just for a sanity check, you may want to see if running your virtualized servers in Joyent public cloud work technically and financially. Don't be afraid to reach out to the Joyent folks because they may be able to point you in the right direction - I promise they are nice.
