I should have added that you should give configuration management some serious consideration when moving to zones. Even if you don't use it now, I would strongly recommend that you script your application configuration so you can recreate the zone if you ever have to update the image. Zones have a greater degree of coupling to the platform than KVMs, which is why it is important to be "reprovision ready". Without using delegated data sets, this can be an expensive process.
