I’m not sure which virtio version is installed in this VM, the driver options seem different than the ones in VM’s that I know are using the SmartOS virtio driver. I don’t think that any of my guys did this but the MTU was set to 1528. We migrated from Linux KVM so I’m assuming its just left over junk.
Thanks for catching that it was crashing on oversized packets, forced me to check interface MTU. I don’t know how I missed that in the MDB error. Case closed. So is there some specific reason that the guest might be configured to send these larger frame MTUs? Arguably we should probably just drop the packet in this case and accept that we can't send it rather than abort, but it is something that you probably want to dig into your guest as it likely means there's some disconnect in configuration. ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
