Thanks - sorry for the delay, I was mostly off work mode for the holiday, plus testing requires rebooting my main home machine. :P I'll try and watch the boot console for anything - when booting in unconfigured mode, I assume /var/log/syslog or similar is still valid?
Is there a list of chipsets you (are planning to) support? (I assume there's a github section or somesuch to peruse, but my ability to parse that is uncertain.)
