Hi,
just ran into the same Problem as last year. This time i'm running two Dell R420 with exactly the same hardware / firmware config. I'm using the onboard NICs: NetXtreme BCM5720 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe I've configured on both machines exactly the same bond configuration: $dladm show-link LINK CLASS MTU STATE BRIDGE OVER bge0 phys 1500 up -- -- bge1 phys 1500 up -- -- aggr0 aggr 1500 up -- bge0,bge1 On the first host, the network is running as expected. On the second host, i got the MAC problem i described last year: >When i configure a link aggregation, i'm seeing on the switch that the SmartOS >host is sending some packets from MAC-address1 and some packets from >MAC-address2. The normal behaviour should be that it is only sending from one >MAC-Address. So two identical systems, one running smooth and one showing the problem. Can anybody explain why this is happening? Thanks Kilian PS: running build: 20170315T210557Z ________________________________ Von: Kilian Ries Gesendet: Donnerstag, 14. "Auto Dedicated NIC" feature is disabled (can't activate it while using dedicated NIC, only if i would use LOM1 or LOM2). Could you also let us know whether you have the "Auto Dedicated NIC" feature enabled in the DRAC settings?
