Greetings All,

I hope that your week has gone well and that you are ready for a nice
weekend.

I was just playing around with a single instance of SmartOS and was
wondering if it is possible to only add in the Joyent Docker layer to it?

I know that with using CoaL or Triton that you can run Docker and I am now
setting Triton up on my big 4-node system, but I was thinking about from a
minimalist approach to have just a small instance of SmartOS with just the
single docker layer and to see how that would work. There are other
distributions out there like CoreOS and Rancher that are built to have
minimal resources and a single docker engine, but I wondering about what
would be a minimal size of SmartOS with just Docker as well.

Any insight, or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend,
Lonnie
