I guess I would view the smf(5)-specified "jobs" as having access to a superset of capability, compared to those expressed in the legacy configuration. Maybe that's not sufficiently relaxed to get at the wild time specifiers you mentioned? - Stephen -- sch at sun.com http://blogs.sun.com/sch/
