[At the risk of re-inventing N1GE...] yes, we get requests for this occasionally as well as requests for Solaris Cluster aware cron. It seems to me that N1GE, or similar, is perhaps more appropriate than cron for at least some of these tasks. P.S. Mike, N1GE is "open source" :-) -- richard
