as has been said, it seems to vary. I have various battery packs that work with iPods that do or don't (or half) work with a first gen iPhone. I've been using both of the first two items here: <http://www.feastronics.co.uk/userimages/procart8.htm> the case/battery gives about 2/3 of a full charge in practice (it works better if you wait til the iPhone battery is very low). The second one gives a full charge. You can charge them both via USB in case you don't have days of uninterrupted sunlight... I usually happily get through a very busy day on one charge but the newer phones don't do as well, I gather. I find these batteries really useful and they charge other bits and pieces too. I did have a problem with the rainbow charger one so I sent it back and they sent another one two days later which works fine. It's much better in my experience than a Solio which is twice the price. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
