I bought this macbook in June of this year and although I think the hardware is second to none I'm not so impressed with the software. There seem to be a lot of updates despite all the mac lovers telling me how stable leopard is. Safari is a joke. I use firefox on my mac but google chrome on the PCs' iPhoto seem determined to control my image files in a way I don't like. I have not found a replacement iTunes I eventually got to work I have not tried imovie and can't face the potential agro. I will stick to pinnacle. Time machine is a super idea but when I tried it I could not bring back a backed up system which is a pity because time machine is a good,in principle, replacement for a disc image saver as for examle acronis true image. Preview is also a joke I use JustLooking I suppose I shall get to love the mac but it is a pain running two operating systems. It is also a nuisance having to search for mac equivalents for much of the software I use. Or have I have got it all wrong???
