OK - if (i) you have a new MacBook or MacBook Pro with a Mini Display  
port and (ii) you connect an external monitor which does NOT have a  
Mini Display port (e.g. a VGA or DVI monitor, via a suitable adaptor)  
then you won't be able to watch copy-protected content such as movies  
and TV shows from iTMS. If you buy one of the new Apple displays with  
a Mini Display port then you'll be fine. Here's an article which
